Leo Leong
Leo has taken up many roles in the industry. The former artistic director of ICD Intercoiffure Singapore has spent 35years of his career inspiring locally and internationally. Gaining his hair education in London, Leo returned to Singapore and got his first experience of educating with Wella and Indola, which got him traveling around the globe.
His interest towards educating grew stronger and this led him to start his own academy, Headquarters Hairstyling School in 1983. Leo was then invited to London as the first Asian hairstylist to appear in an instructional hair video for CVS and style in a photoshoot for Elite hair magazine. Hair shows and seminars followed in unison as many seek his consultations and skills. He currently owns a hair supply shop.

James Wee
In 1982, started a professional hairdressing course with Toni International Singapore. He worked for 2 years in local salons and decided to pursue hairdressing as a career. Therefore, went ahead to advance further in London, England for about 2 years.

Achievements are:
- Qualified for the World Federation of Supreme Hairdressers Advanced Diploma Examination and conferred with Honors
- Judge of the Golden Scissors Hair Competition for 2 consecutive years in late 1980s
- Owned a salon in 1986
- Has been in this industry for 33 years.

Eugene Ong
Eugene has been working in the hairdressing industry since 1978. He had his training in London at the Alan International School and Jingles Hairdressing School. After working in London with various salons, he went to Australia for a short work stint before returning to Singapore in 1989. Eugene also has a strong reputation in Singapore’s fashion publishing scene. He has done countless covers and fashion editorials for Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, Marie Claire Malaysia, Her World, Female, Glam, Nuyou, amongst others. Some of the celebrities he has worked with includes Michelle Yeoh, Joan Chen and Christy Chung. Eugene is very passionate about what he is doing and his willingness to share is topped with humour. A very welcoming, friendly & highly inspiring individual. Eugene is now actively involved in educating and nurturing the next generation of hairstylists. He currently owns a salon.
Hair is more than just work to him; it is art. His formula for success is simple; learn more, do more.
Advice/words of encouragement for the younger generation:
Be an all-rounder, learn everything. Ask questions to clear your doubts and you gain knowledge. Remember: Learn more and do more.
